Support Worker

At WinaCare Disability Services we always looking for passionate and motivated disability support workers for community work. Duties include providing domestic assistance, personal care in clients’ homes and assistance with accessing and participating in the community.

WHAT WE REQUIRE:
Role requirement:
Are willing to work flexibly across a fortnightly roster, including weekends & public holidays.
Experience working within the disability field is highly desirable but not essential.
Can work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
Have excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.
A current driver’s license and reliable, roadworthy vehicle, full comprehensive insurance is a must.
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Working with Children Check
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Positive Notice Criminal History Check
A Police check will be carried out before commencement of role.
Must have completed, or currently be studying Certificate III in a relevant area: – Disability, Mental Health and /or Community Services.
A positive, reliable, empathetic and proactive approach to supporting people of all ages and diverse backgrounds living with disability.
